AFRICAN WILD CAT

Nope, somebody didn't lost their kitty. This little guy is a genuine African Wildcat! Wildcats are a ‘wilder’ version of the domestic cat and have similar behaviours and food habits. This is not surprising, as it is thought that the African wildcat is the ancestor of the domestic cat. Unfortunately, the African Wildcat is currently on the CITES list (Convention in International Trade in Endangered Species or Wild Fauna or Flora).

THE ANTS GO MARCHING ONE BY ONE

As we were driving along this morning, we came across thousands of ants (Army Ants??), marching along. The trail or ants was remarkably long and it didn't seem to end!
