THE WANDERER

This has definitely been the week for leopards! We have seen Karula and her cubs, the Beacon female and just this morning, we spotted a new young male leopard. The guides figure he has wondered down into Djuma from up north. Djuma may be a great place to settle, but this young fella needs to take heed. There is already a dominant male, Mafufunyane, in the area. Hopefully this young leopard won't find out about it the hard way - if Mafufunyane finds him on his territory, he will kill him. I think this beautiful boy needs to keep wandering to find a new home.
