LONE LIONESS

On the game drive this evening, we came across a lone lioness. Our guide Rexon suspected that she was one of the lionesses who had lost her pride to the Mapogo pride a few months back. As lions naturally live and hunt with other lions in a pride, she is lucky that she has survived on her own for this long. Apparently, she was also lucky to have caught a small baboon to satisfy her hunger. Mmmm..nothing like a little baboon meat to start your day!
